When Miki said that equality is a fantasy and life is not fair, I had to hear more.

“You know, it’s a fantasy that people should uh should be you know people are treated equally, or people have the exactly same opportunity. Or, you know, I think most of Japanese people know that life is not fair.

Why? Because maybe, this is, this is just my idea but maybe because we have so many natural disasters. You know, natural disasters um happen even if we live in, like a good citizen. You know, if everybody get along very well, working hard, but still the earthquake hit us, right?

It’s not fair. Even if you’re really a good person, you still might get like (sound of being killed) at any moment.

And uh earthquake hit you even if you are poor, or rich, or good person, bad person, you know, healthy, sick. So, um, like, like, like Americans said “shit happens”, right?
